After a massive storm of thunder, lightning and torrential rain last night, my right-hand rod ripped off this morning on the stroke of 8am.
After a crazy fight of almost half an hour, this amazing beauty slipped into my net.
50lb 4oz of Cretelakes Mirror Carp.
Caught on a Crab & Cray pop-up that'd been glugged in the bait dip for almost 2 months, fished over a bed of mixed 15mm & 18mm Crab & Cray and Scopex Peach Boiliee.
